In Friday's league match, the host Wilkes Central Eagles football squad scored a big 41-3 victory over the Forbush Falcons.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) in a 2A/1A Mountain Valley match, on Friday, October 5. Wilkes Central will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record.
