South Dakota High School Basketball - Miller crushes Northwestern Area
January 13, 2018: Miller, SD 57362 Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), 78-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Miller upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Rustlers host Crow Creek (Stephan, SD) to play the Chieftains in a A Region 6 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Chieftains come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Crow Creek won 83-48 in their recent league bout against Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD) in a B Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Northwestern Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Monarchs come into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 45-44 league win over Langford (Langford, SD).
