California High School Basketball - Clovis West nips St. Francis
January 18, 2010: Sacramento, CA 95819 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA) and the host St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA), saw Clovis West's basketball squad hold off St. Francis by a score of 58-55.
With the victory, Clovis West improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Central (Fresno, CA) to battle the Grizzlies in a Tri-Rivers challenge on Wednesday, January 20. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 5-9.
Next up, the Troubadours battle the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) in a Delta River challenge, on Friday, January 22. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 57-36 league win over Folsom (Folsom, CA).
