Senior Alex Perera raised his record to 5-0 and lowered his ERA to 0.64 as he picked up two victories on the same day. Perera finished off the final out of a game suspended on March 5 due to darkness. Then Perera, normally the Eagles' closer, made his first start of the season and threw a 6-hit shutout. He helped his own cause in the sixth inning of the second game when he singled home Robert Cancio with an insurance run.
