Alabama High School Football - Macon-East Montgomery Academy felled by Coosa Valley Academy
September 9, 2016: Harpersville, AL 35078 In Friday's league game, the Coosa Valley Academy Rebels (Harpersville, AL) football team were victorious over the visiting Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL), by a score of 13-2.
The Rebels (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Lakeside School (Eufaula, AL). The Chiefs come into the AISA AA Region 1 game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Lakeside School was knocked off by Cornerstone Christian (Columbiana, AL), 34-20, in a league game.
The Knights now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Evangel Christian Academy for a AISA AA Region 1 game on Friday, September 16. Macon-East Montgomery Academy will battle a Lions team coming off a 20-18 league win over Kingwood Christian (Alabaster, AL). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
