North Carolina High School Basketball - Hickory Ridge succumbs to Hough

The Hough Huskies topped the visiting Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls basketball team by a final score of 59-48 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Huskies face the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a Mecka 4A battle, on Wednesday, January 4. Hough will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 6-5 record after their 56-55 non-league loss to Forest Trail Academy (Kernersville, NC).

The Ragin' Bulls (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons come into the Southern Piedmont 3A battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, West Rowan prevailed over Jay M. Robinson (Concord, NC), 79-78, in a league battle.
