The Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) football edged the host Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX), 38-31 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) in a 6A Region I District 6 bout, on Friday, November 4. Allen will attempt to advance on its 9-0 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 5-4 record after their 28-21 league win over McKinney (McKinney, TX).

The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Plano (Plano, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region I District 6 bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Plano nudged Plano West (Plano, TX), 31-6, in a league bout.
