California High School Baseball - Cardinal Newman loses to Monte Vista
February 24, 2018: Santa Rosa, CA 95403 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Monte Vista Mustangs baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Cardinal Newman Cardinals.
The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Padres go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Serra ran past James Logan (Union City, CA), 5-2, in a non-league game.
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Petaluma (Petaluma, CA). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Petaluma was overwhelmed by Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA), 7-4, in a non-league game.
