Louisiana High School Baseball - St. Charles Catholic defeats Riverside
March 28, 2010: Reserve, LA 70084 St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Sunday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Riverside Rebels (Reserve, LA), 5-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Charles Catholic moves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 30. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 13-6. Ascension Catholic won 14-3 in their recent league battle against White Castle (White Castle, LA)
The Rebels now possess a 4-15 record. They take the field next when they host Central Lafourche for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 3. Riverside will play a Trojans squad coming off a 19-4 non-league win over Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-9.
