With the triumph, Childress improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Slaton (Slaton, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 2A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, October 14. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Slaton lost 41-12 in their recent league test against Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX)

With the loss, River Road drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 2A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, October 14.
