January 26, 2010: Kersey, CO 80644 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the University Bulldogs (Greeley, CO) and the host Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), saw University's basketball squad knock off Platte Valley by a score of 61-48.
With the victory, University improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Highland (Ault, CO) to battle the Huskies in a 3A Patriot challenge on Friday, January 29. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Highland won 61-47 in their recent league challenge against Strasburg (Strasburg, CO)
Next up, the Broncos battle the Lyons Lions (Lyons, CO) in a 3A Patriot challenge, on Friday, January 29. Platte Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 63-43 league loss to Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO).
