February 1, 2017: Clanton, AL 35045 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL) and the visiting Billingsley Bears (Billingsley, AL), saw Chilton County's basketball squad overcome Billingsley by a tally of 59-42.
With the victory, Chilton County improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Jemison (Jemison, AL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Jemison won 52-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Isabella (Maplesville, AL)
Next up, the Bears confront the Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL) in a 2A Area 9 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Billingsley will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 15-9 record after their 71-56 non-league loss to Loveless Academic Magnet Program (Montgomery, AL).
