September 30, 2011: Louisville, KY 40206 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Sacred Heart Valkyries (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL), saw Sacred Heart's volleyball squad beat Downers Grove North by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Sacred Heart upgrades its record to 22-7 on the year. The Valkyries travel to St. Francis (Wheaton, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 18-4. St. Francis lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Assumption (Louisville, KY)
The Trojans now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hinsdale South for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 13.
