Michigan High School Baseball - Truman loses to Anderson
May 1, 2013: Southgate, MI 48195 In Wednesday's league game, the host Anderson Titans baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Truman Cougars.
The Titans (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Northville (Northville, MI). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record.
The Cougars (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI). The Bears go into the Downriver game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Roosevelt was overwhelmed by Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI), 8-3, in a league game.
Game Summary
Brandon Ostrowski racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Southgate Anderson Titans. He singled in the third and fourth innings.
Tyler Hall's six strikeouts were enough to push the Southgate Anderson Titans past Taylor Truman. Hall allowed one earned run on five hits and three walks over six innings.
