Massachusetts High School Baseball - Brockton defeats Oliver Ames
May 18, 2018: Brockton, MA 02301 Brockton Boxers (Brockton, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Oliver Ames Tigers (North Easton, MA), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Brockton upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Boxers travel to Durfee (Fall River, MA) to battle the Hilltoppers in a Big Three test on Sunday, May 20. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 7-7. Durfee lost 12-3 in their recent non-league test against Somerset Berkley Regional (Somerset, MA)
With the defeat, Oliver Ames falls to 10-5 on the season. The Tigers host New Bedford (New Bedford, MA) to battle the Whalers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 19. The Whalers come into the test with a record of 2-13. New Bedford lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against St. John's (Shrewsbury, MA)
