The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs basketball team (Nixon, TX), was routed 38-17 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX)

The Aggies now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Navarro for a 4A Region IV District 30 battle on Tuesday, December 11.

The Mustangs (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Marion (Marion, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Marion was routed by Pearsall (Pearsall, TX), 39-26, in a non-league battle.
