The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) and the host Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA), observed Mountain View's football squad edge Central Gwinnett by a count of 38-37.

The Bears now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Peachtree Ridge for a AAAAAAA Region 6 contest on Friday, September 21.

Coming up next, the Black Knights play the Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 14. Central Gwinnett will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 21-14 non-league loss to Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA).
