North Carolina High School Football - Myers Park held off by Butler
October 13, 2006: Charlotte, NC 28209 The Butler Bulldogs held off the host Myers Park Mustangs football squad by a final score of 14-10 in Friday's league outing.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Providence for a Southwestern 4A outing on Friday, October 20. Butler will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 45-0 league win over Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.
With the defeat, Myers Park moves to 4-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Independence (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Patriots in a Southwestern 4A outing on Friday, October 20. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Independence won 54-22 in their recent league challenge against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
