Arkansas High School Basketball - Jonesboro tops Greene County Tech
December 6, 2016: Jonesboro, AR 72401 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) and the visiting Greene County Tech Golden Eagles (Paragould, AR), saw Jonesboro's basketball squad knock off Greene County Tech by a count of 73-57.
With the victory, Jonesboro upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Hurricane travel to Wynne (Wynne, AR) to play the Yellowjackets in a 5A East challenge on Friday, December 9. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Wynne won 84-78 in their recent league challenge against Forrest City (Forrest City, AR)
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) in a 6A East challenge, on Friday, December 9. Greene County Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 47-45 league win over Blytheville (Blytheville, AR).
