It was only the season opener, but don't be surprised if Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic and Steelton-Highspire meet again. Perhaps in March. At the Bryce Jordan Center.
OK, that might be a bit premature, but they were two of the best Class A girls' basketball teams in Pennsylvania a year ago - BG won the state title, Steelton lost in the state quarters - and both have high expectations again.
However, the Marauders led by only 3 before outscoring the Lady Rollers, 14-7, in the last five minutes. The game was decided at the foul line where BG converted 23-of-32. Steelton had three more field goals.
