The Fairfax Lions basketball team (Los Angeles, CA), dropped 72-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA)

The Cavaliers now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Amat for a Del Rey battle on Wednesday, January 29. Serra will confront a Lancers team coming off a 66-58 league win over St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 11-10.

The Lions (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Venice (Los Angeles, CA). The Gondoliers come into the Western battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Venice beat Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA), 81-79, in a league battle.
