Illinois High School Volleyball - Elgin Glenbard West
October 6, 2011: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 The Glenbard West Hilltoppers topped the visiting Elgin Maroons volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers now have a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Larkin for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. Glenbard West will confront a Royals team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Royals record now stands at 4-13.
The Maroons (1-15) will now prepare for their test against Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Bulldogs enter the Upstate Eight test with a 16-11 record. In their last test, Batavia was knocked off by Geneva (Geneva, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
