Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Kennedy Hornets (Mound Bayou, MS) and the visiting Cleveland Wildcats (Cleveland, MS), saw Kennedy's basketball squad hold off Cleveland by a tally of 60-58.

With the victory, Kennedy improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Shaw (Shaw, MS) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 26. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Shaw won 52-41 in their recent non-league challenge against East Side (Cleveland, MS)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the East Side Trojans (Cleveland, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 26. Cleveland will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 52-41 non-league loss to Shaw (Shaw, MS).
