Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK), 65-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Barrow upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Whalers travel to Colony (Palmer, AK) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 11-2.

Next up, the Lynx play the Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Dimond will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record.
