The Flour Bluff Hornets basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting King Mustangs to 38 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll for a 5A Region IV District 30 contest on Friday, January 5. Flour Bluff will battle a Tigers team coming off a 73-34 non-league win over Moody (Moody, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 14-11.

The Mustangs (14-12) will now prepare for their contest against Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region IV District 30 contest with a 22-4 record.
