Gibsonburg Golden Bears (Gibsonburg, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Woodmore Wildcats (Elmore, OH), 57-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Gibsonburg upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Golden Bears host Eastwood (Pemberville, OH) to play the Eagles in a Suburban Lakes bout on Thursday, February 10. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-8.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH) in a Suburban Lakes bout, on Thursday, February 10. Woodmore will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
