Arizona High School Softball - Sabino holds off Greenway

Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Greenway Demons (Phoenix, AZ), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Sabercats now own a 26-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon del Oro for a II Section I challenge on Wednesday, May 9. Sabino will battle a Dorados squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ). The Dorados record now stands at 30-5.

With the loss, Greenway falls to 24-8 on the campaign.
