October 3, 2014: Port Byron, IL 61275 In Friday's league match, the visiting Newman Central Catholic Comets football squad scored a big 50-0 victory over the Riverdale Rams.
In their next game, the Comets clash with the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) in a Three Rivers - North match, on Friday, October 10. Newman Central Catholic will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 18-14 league loss to Amboy-LaMoille (Amboy, IL).
