Nebraska High School Basketball - Red Cloud holds off Deshler
February 11, 2010: Red Cloud, NE 68970 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Red Cloud Warriors (Red Cloud, NE) and the visiting Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE), saw Red Cloud's basketball squad hold off Deshler by a count of 37-30.
With the victory, Red Cloud upgrades its record to 7-13 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Giltner (Giltner, NE) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 15. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Giltner won 51-22 in their recent non-league challenge against McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE)
Next up, the Dragons play the Blue Hill Bobcats (Blue Hill, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 12. Deshler will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 45-39 non-league loss to Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE).
