Game Summary
Collegiate and Covenant played into the night before the Cougars escaped with a 9-7 victory. The Eagles were leading 3-2 in the third inning behind consecutive hits by Carney and Peed. The Cougars erupted for 7 runs in the third behind Alden Gregory's two run single and Sarah Romer's RBI bunt. The Eagles would not go quietly as they scored 4 in the top of the 5th before Elizabeth Bowles caught Arrington's fly ball hit to left field to end the game. Both teams move on with a 1-0 record.
