The Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) basketball knocked off the visiting Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), 57-48 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (15-10) will now prepare for their test against Carson (Carson City, NV). The Senators go into the non-league test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, Carson went down by Douglas (Minden, NV), 44-34, in a league test.

The Raiders now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Galena for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 12. Reed will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 84-67 league win over Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 23-5.
