Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), 49-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Jackson upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Polar Bears host Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, January 5. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Fairfield Union lost 62-46 in their recent league bout against Teays Valley (Ashville, OH)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 7. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
