The Denton Broncos (Denton, TX) basketball nipped the host Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX), 69-65 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Broncos (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Hebron (Carrollton, TX). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Hebron got by Wylie (Wylie, TX), 64-28, in a non-league test.

The Rough Riders now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chisholm Trail for a 4A Region I District 6 test on Friday, December 14.
