The Mullen Broncos basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Sandhills/Thedford Knights to 47 in the Broncos non-league victory on Friday.

The Broncos now sport a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Wallace for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 9. Mullen will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 54-28 non-league win over Arthur County (Arthur, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-1.

The Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE). The Coyotes come into the non-league contest with a 0-9 record.
