The South Hills Scorpions basketball team scored 33 points and held the host Western Hills Cougars to 30 in the Scorpions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Scorpions now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arlington Heights for a 5A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, February 5.

The Cougars (8-18) will now prepare for their contest against Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 19-8 record. In their last contest, Trimble Tech nudged North Side (Fort Worth, TX), 59-6, in a league contest.
