December 14, 2016: Erie, PA 16509 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA) and the host Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA), saw Girard's basketball squad overcome Seneca by a tally of 44-36.
With the victory, Girard improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to General McLane (Edinboro, PA) to confront the Lancers in a District 10 Region 5 challenge on Friday, December 16. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Strong Vincent Colonels (Erie, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Seneca will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 40-38 non-league loss to Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA).
