Illinois High School Baseball - Shepard loses to Sandburg
April 30, 2018: Palos Heights, IL 60463 The Sandburg Eagles baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Shepard Astros to 5 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Eagles (14-4) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins go into the Southwest Suburban - Red match with a 19-2 record. In their last match, Lincoln-Way East edged Naperville Central (Naperville, IL), 14-2, in a non-league match.
The Astros (9-10) will now prepare for their match against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Hawks go into the South Suburban - Blue match with a 1-12 record. In their last match, Hillcrest was overwhelmed by Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL), 12-2, in a league match.
