In Saturday's league match, the visiting North Cross Raiders football squad scored a good 34-25 victory over the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights (Powhatan, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 11. North Cross will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 42-7 non-league loss to Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA).

The Bishops (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Eagles enter the VISAA Old Dominion match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Covenant was toppled by Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA), 26-0, in a league match.
