Louisiana High School Basketball - Northshore nips Ponchatoula

January 19, 2018: Ponchatoula, LA 70454

Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA), 50-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northshore upgrades its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Slidell (Slidell, LA) to play the Tigers in a 5A District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 17-5.

Next up, the Green Wave play the Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA) in a 5A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Ponchatoula will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a 10-12 record after their 66-59 league loss to Covington (Covington, LA).
