New Jersey High School Basketball - Williamstown holds off Pemberton
January 29, 2011: Williamstown, NJ 08094 Williamstown Braves (Williamstown, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Pemberton Hornets (Pemberton, NJ), 51-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Williamstown upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Braves host Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ) to play the Dragons in a Tri-County - Royal bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Kingsway won 60-48 in their recent non-league bout against Woodbury (Woodbury, NJ)
Next up, the Hornets play the Moorestown Quakers (Moorestown, NJ) in a Burlco - Liberty bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Pemberton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Quakers go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 51-37 non-league win over Paulsboro (Paulsboro, NJ).
