The Morris Knolls Golden Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Mount Olive Marauders to 64 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randolph for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Morris Knolls will battle a Rams team coming off a 60-40 non-league loss to St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.

The Marauders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Montville (Montville, NJ). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
