McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Poly Engineers (Baltimore, MD), 61-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McDonogh upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD) to play the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 27. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Oakland Mills won 74-65 in their recent non-league bout against Dulaney (Timonium, MD)

Next up, the Engineers play the Dulaney Lions (Timonium, MD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 27. Poly will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 74-65 non-league loss to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD).
