The Collins Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Mount Olive Pirates to 53 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bassfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 13. Collins will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 76-54 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-1.
