The Seguin Matadors volleyball team (Seguin, TX), was edged 3-2 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX)

The Bears (37-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-11 record. In their last challenge, Carrizo Springs was edged by Hondo (Hondo, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Matadors encounter the LBJ Austin Jaguars (Austin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 29. Seguin will attempt to move on its 28-7 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to Lockhart (Lockhart, TX).
