Texas High School Basketball - Bowie crushes Cedar Park
December 3, 2010: Cedar Park, TX 78613 Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX), 64-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bowie upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Del Valle (Del Valle, TX) to battle the Cardinals in a 5A Region II District 15 challenge on Saturday, December 4. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Del Valle lost 68-67 in their recent non-league challenge against College Park (The Woodlands, TX)
Next up, the Timberwolves battle the Stony Point Tigers (Round Rock, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 4. Cedar Park will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 61-52 non-league loss to Del Valle (Del Valle, TX).
