Alabama High School Basketball - Russell County can't hold off Valley

January 19, 2016: Valley, AL 36854

The Valley Rams basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Russell County Warriors to 44 in the Rams league victory on Tuesday.

The Rams now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smiths Station for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 20. Valley will battle a Panthers team coming off a 74-67 non-league loss to Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-13.

The Warriors (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lanett (Lanett, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 18-4 record.
