February 9, 2017: Ravenna, NE 68869 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) and the host Ravenna Bluejays (Ravenna, NE), saw Adams Central's basketball squad wallop Ravenna by a tally of 73-26.
With the victory, Adams Central improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE) to confront the Stars in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 17-5. Kearney Catholic won 54-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE)
Next up, the Bluejays confront the Ord Chanticleers (Ord, NE) in a C1 District 8 challenge, on Friday, February 17. Ravenna will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Chanticleers come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 63-47 non-league loss to O'Neill (O'Neill, NE).
