December 9, 2015: Lansdowne, PA 19050 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Penn Wood Patriots (Lansdowne, PA) and the visiting Norristown Eagles (Norristown, PA), saw Penn Wood's basketball squad hold off Norristown by a tally of 67-64.
With the victory, Penn Wood improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Bergtraum (New York, NY) to play the Blazers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 12. The Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Bergtraum won 69-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD)
Next up, the Eagles play the Upper Dublin Cardinals (Fort Washington, PA) in a Suburban One - American challenge, on Friday, December 11. Norristown will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
