The Modoc Braves basketball team (Alturas, CA), was overwhelmed 51-17 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Weed Cougars (Weed, CA)

The Cougars now possess a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Burney for a Shasta Cascade battle on Friday, February 12. Weed will battle a Raiders team coming off a 48-37 league loss to Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-10.

The Braves (0-17) will now prepare for their outing against Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Shasta Cascade outing with a 13-6 record. In their last outing, Fall River was trounced by Etna (Etna, CA), 61-49, in a league outing.
