Ewing Blue Devils (Trenton, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ), 46-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ewing upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Allentown (Allentown, NJ) to play the Redbirds in a Colonial Valley - Patriot bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Redbirds come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Lawrence Cardinals (Lawrenceville, NJ) in a Colonial Valley - Patriot bout, on Tuesday, December 20.
